Inspired by the Grateful Dead song, Ripple. This

Inspired by the Grateful Dead song, Ripple.

This project request definitely pushed us in many ways. We started this custom project with no direction as we were not Dead fans and knew little to nothing about them. Actually didn’t care for them at all. So we had to do a lot of research and reach out to friends that are Dead fans for some knowledge. We actually found out that some friends we never thought were fans were in actuality big fans after seeing the piece in progress. We listened to a LOT of Dead music and at this point it’s safe to say we can dig it, especially the Pig Pen era.

The piece is inspired by the song Ripple but we also integrated their family astrological signs and tarot card symbolism. The piece was custom built to fit into a specific space and it stands 7 feet tall by almost 3 feet wide.

Our client was jaw dropped when we delivered it and she’s a tear of joy. We’re pretty stoked on the outcome one as well. Hope y’all enjoy it.
